A Useful Metaphor! ^_^

Over at The Gates of Vienna, Baron Bodissy introduces an interesting essay by Dimitri Kolb on the collapse of the Soviet Union. ^_^


Frequent readers of this blog are doubtless aware that I am fond of the vampire metaphor myself as evidenced both here and here, but who can deny that the Undead are indeed legion and that Dimitri has described quite correctly one of the nastiest vampires of them all? o_O

Let's just hope that the stake is of sturdy stuff and remains in the heart of that particular vampire forever! ^_~
