Democrats and Girls...
Isn't it nice to know that we can always rely on Democrats to regard young girls as expendable? Isn't it nice to know that we can always rely upon Democrats to attack young girls? :P
And, lest the Daily KOS entry that Betsy discusses be dismissed as an aberration untypical of the Left, let us note with interest that this sentiment is openly endorsed by Congressional Democrat Barney Franks who apparently regards the fact that there are people who like Mrs. Palin's family as all the reason there need be to do as much damage to any of them as possible.
So who can doubt that all the Obama supporters are of the same orientation as Andrew Sullivan and Barney Franks in this particular matter? o_O
Who can doubt that this is the essence of what a Democrat stands for? Who can doubt that this is what everyone who is an Obama supporter really is? >_>
So much for the Democrats! So much for anyone who is a supporter of Barrack Hussein Obama.:P

3) What is it that "a Democrat stands for"? I can't figure it out from the post -- except for the seemingly mainstream proposition that gay marriage and gay adoptions and liberal social values don't harm families. Umm...okay, I'll sign onto that.
The attack Dobermans of the left are accomplishing one thing...the rallying of the Conservatives to get behind Sarah Palin all the more. This woman is absolutely fantastic. America is so blessed to have her. The Left can't stand anything so decent and moral.

2. That said, given the fact that he would justify baseless attacks on 17 year old girls in such terms I would argue that Mr. Frank cannot be regarded as entirely frank. That is the *lamest* excuse for attacking a bystander that I hsve ever seen and really does boil down to the fact that he regards the fact that people like Mrs. Palin's family as a reason to attack them. Very *liberal* when you think about it.
3.. The answer to your question lies in this quote from the first link. "If health insurance for all, an end to the Iraq War, an end to torture and illegal wiretapping, and a sane energy policy can be obtained at the price of destroying one teenage girl, her family, and the surrendering our self-respect I see that as a cheap trade.

If you see that as the logical implication of "the seemingly mainstream proposition that gay marriage and gay adoptions and liberal social values don't harm families." then I truly wish you the joy of "signing onto that". It says everything we need to know about the Democrats that Barney Franks and the Kos Kiddies already have. >_<

It does look that way doesn't it? ^_^
I think the people behind Mr. Obama have spent too much time in safe enclaves like Chicago and Washington to really understand how this sort of thing looks to anyone with a little common decency. To some extent the Democrats of those areas lost touch with the common values of America in pursuit of the things they consider "just regular politics" and don't undertand how this sort can and does blow up in their faces. The fact that they would go after a 17 year old bystander shows how badly they no longer get it.
That's unfortunate in a way because America needs 2 parties instead of one and if the Democrats don't get a clue I suspect their party will decay from within and die. ^_^;
